Binbrook is home to the Lake Niapenco reservoir, the largest inland lake in the Niagara Watershed.

Well known as a “hot spot” for fishing, Binbrook Conservation Area also plays host to annual fishing derbies. A swimming beach, children’s spray pad, picnic facilities, nature trails, observation platforms, and play area can all be found at Binbrook. It’s like cottage country... close to home.

Binbrook Camera

Bring the rowboat, paddle boat or canoe and experience Binbrook from the water. Canoe along the tranquil shores of one of the few inland lakes in the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority’s watershed.

Fish in Lake Niapenco for northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, white and black crappie, yellow perch, pumpkinseed, rock bass, brown bullhead and carp. This area features a boat launch and wheelchair accessible fishing pier. A catch and release policy is presently in effect for walleye (pickerel), northern pike, and bass. This policy will help develop a sustainable fish population in the reservoir.
